Block captains will help our neighborhood association grow and ensure everyone is receiving communications about events, initiatives and meetings. While many people are online, not everyone is, and block captains can ensure communications get to those without Internet access or those that simply may not spend as much time online.
Our goal is to have one literature drop per year and we hope to build our email list through literature drops. Additionally, block captains can get involved in initiatives like the current Greenlight initiative, where passing out their flyers will help us spread the word. Finally, we may occasionally have ticket sales for events like our neighborhood picnic.
Becoming a block captain is a great way to get to know your neighbors, get feedback from them, and a network of block captains will ultimately allow the Laurelton Neighborhood Association to be more in-tune with the neighborhood and its needs. Below you can view the list and please email laureltonneighborhood@gmail.com if you'd like to sign up!
